I have really used heat on my hair in a really long time. I have been trying to grow my hair out. A few years ago I stripped my hair and ended up frying my hair. Thankfully its all grown out now. But I am always afraid of using to much heat and drying it out. My hair tends to be a little dry on the ends. I got some heat protector for the rare occasion that I do use heat on my hair. When I do I usually straighten it because my hair is in between curly and wavy. So it does really well when i straighten and when I curl it. So now to this wand, I really like it! It has a small clip instead of one that goes along the whole barrel. I wasn't sure how I would feel about it. It works just as well and it doesn't leave a line down the curl. It did not leave my hair feeling crunch or anything, in fact it felt smooth and shiny. I really like that I can control the temperature on this one, my old one I could not do that. It was just a plug it in and wait forever and then curl your hair. This one you plug it in set the temp and then go. It heats so much faster and it curls my hair faster as well.
