Sharpening pencils with those little manual sharpeners can make your hands sore after a while. With little kids I am always sharpening their pencils over and over. So I decided to invest in an electric sharpener to save my hands. This sharpener has not let me down yet, I am very impressed with it, I was hoping to find one that plugs into the wall but I found this one that takes batteries. I put rechargeable batteries in it so that I can recharge them and not have to worry about buying more every time they die.This sharpener is really nice. It sharpens pencils quickly and it makes them nice and sharp. It works really well on every pencil that I have sharpened in it, color pencil, graphite pencil, and those triangle shaped pencils that are great for little hands. Te battery life seems to last a while as well, thats always a plus.
