I think my dogs have more things for their fur than I have for my hair. I have so many different combs and brushes for them. I have to groom my shih tzu quiet often. If I don't her fur gets pretty crazy and grooming can get expensive. This deshedding tool works nicely. It works really well on my chihuahua  and shih tzu chihuahua mix. It doesn't do as well with my shih tzu unless I brush her out really well first. Grooming her can take forever, so thankfully she doesn't shed very much.Over all it is a nice brush and it works.
